Counseling Areas of Focus: Adults, seniors, and teens ages 12+. Clients often establish services to nurture symptoms related to attachment/relationship injury, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, military/veteran and aviation work and family lifestyle stress, multicultural, trauma, and women’s issues. (read more in the About section).
Values enrich the therapeutic relationship: I value nurturing a relational, friendly, safe, and brave space to process hard topics. Supportive space will be held for overwhelming experiences that have been pushed aside, invalidated, or exiled away- such as fear, hopelessness, grief, guilt, and shame. We are so much more than a dominating emotion or state of mind. When we look for underlying intention and meaning- we can build new relationships with the parts of us that are overwhelmed. I value balance, choices, culture, curiosity, and respect in my work which inclines towards acceptance-commitment, attachment, coping skills education, self-compassion, and trauma-informed approaches. AANHPI, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Neurodivergence affirming and friendly.
Brain-Body (somatic) processing modalities are powerful: I am Brainspotting certified and EMDR trained. Please note that I do not align with EMDR standalone/dominant approaches. I support clients using diverse, integrative, and individualized approaches towards deep brain-body processing.
What I believe about therapy: I believe that our core Self seeks growth across the lifespan. Counseling is a collaborative partnership that fosters self-discovery, resilience, and meaningful change. Every individual has the capacity to grow toward a healthier version of themselves. Regardless of life's challenges or circumstances -no one is beyond hope.
If you are seeking therapeutic partnership in your growth journey- please reach out :)

Brainspotting
I am certified in Brainspotting.
“Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. Brainspotting is a simultaneous form of diagnosis and treatment, enhanced with Biolateral sound, which is deep, direct, and powerful yet focused and containing.”- David Grand, Ph.D.
